WAEC Releases 2024 WASSCE Results for School Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates. The announcement was made on Monday, August 12, 2024.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the examination body informed candidates that they can now access their results on the WAEC website.
The post read, “The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for school candidates, 2024 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 12, 2024.”
Candidates are encouraged to visit the official WAEC portal to check their results using their examination numbers and PINs. This year’s WASSCE saw thousands of students across West Africa taking the exams, which serve as a critical milestone for secondary school graduates as they seek higher education opportunities.
WAEC has urged candidates to be patient with the online portal due to expected high traffic and assured them that all issues would be promptly addressed.
