The University for Development Studies (UDS), a leading institution renowned for its hands-on, community-driven education, is inviting applications for the prestigious Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year. This fully funded scholarship aims to support talented yet financially disadvantaged undergraduate students, empowering them to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
ABOUT THE EPI SCHOLARSHIP
The Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship is a competitive financial aid program designed to support brilliant students from underprivileged backgrounds. It alleviates financial hardships, allowing beneficiaries to focus on their studies and career aspirations without economic constraints.
Beyond financial assistance, the scholarship nurtures leadership and community service, encouraging recipients to use their education to drive positive change in Ghana and beyond.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the EPI Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Level 100 or 200 undergraduate student at UDS
- Reside in an economically disadvantaged area of Ghana
- Have attended a GES-approved Senior High School
- Provide verifiable proof of financial need
- Demonstrate strong academic performance (WASSCE aggregate of 11 or better)
- Show determination to succeed academically and professionally
- Not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial aid
- Commit to working in Ghana for two years after graduation
- Be identified as a gifted student.
REQUIRED APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
EApplicants must submit the following documents:
- WASSCE results
- Senior High School (SHS) transcripts (Terminal Reports)
- University admission letter
- Proof of registration (for Level 100 students)
- Records of awards, honors, or letters of recommendation
- Documents proving financial hardship
- Completed application form.
