The University of Paris-Saclay, founded in 2015, is a merger of several renowned institutions, including the École Polytechnique, École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay, and Université Paris-Sud. SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
The University of Paris-Saclay's scholarship program for international students offers a unique opportunity to pursue a masters program in a world-class environment. The scholarship covers:
- Tuition fees
- Living expenses
- Travel costs
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible, students must meet the following cumulative criteria:
- Admission to a Paris-Saclay University Master's programme: Delivered by any of the partner universities
- International student status: Studying in France for the first time
- Age requirement: 30 years old or less during the year of selection
Additional Eligible Categories
The following students remain eligible:
- Foreign nationals living in France for less than a year: Previously or currently enrolled in a non-degree training course or internship
- Foreign nationals taking language classes: Such as "FLE"(French as a Foreign Language) courses
- Students with previous mobility programmes: Participated in programmes like Erasmus Mundus Joint masters degrees or exchange programmes that didn't lead to a degree from the French higher education system
Ineligible Candidates
The following students are not eligible:
- Students enrolled in a French higher education institution: Except international students enrolled in a French higher education institution abroad
- Students with a study gap of over 3 consecutive years
- Students receiving funding exceeding €600 per month
ELIGIBLE COURSES AND FIELDS
All academic fields and masters programs accredited by Université Paris-Saclay are eligible, excluding vocational training.
SELECTION PROCESS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
A jury of experts from Paris-Saclay University's faculties, component institutions, and associated universities will select laureates. Admission to a masters program does not automatically guarantee a scholarship.
The evaluation criteria include:
- Academic level
- Personal project
- Motivation letter
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT AND PAYMENT
The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship awards:
- -10,000€ per year, paid over 10 consecutive months (September to June)
- Up to 1,000€ for travel and visa expenses, depending on the candidate's country of origin
Selected applicants will receive their scholarship and travel expenses upon arrival in France, after registering in their admitted program. No advance payments are needed.
APPLICATION TIMELINE
- Candidate Selection Deadline: May 5, 2025
- Masters programme coordinators must select candidates by this date.
- Scholarship Application Deadline: May 9, 2025
- Selected candidates must apply for the scholarship by this date.
- Recommendation Deadline: May 12, 2025
- Two referees must submit recommendations by this date, marking the closure of the call.
- Result Publication: Late June 2025
- Applicants will be notified of the selection results around late June 2025.
NOTE: Interested applicants should submit their applications before the candidate selection process commences on May 5, 2025.
