Regina Daniels Says Family Was Against Her Marriage

During a live session on Tiktok, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels opened up about her marriage to Ned Nwoko, which still causes controversies on social media, with people tagging her as a golddigger among other demeaninf comments. Speaking during the live, she also mentioned the other speculations that she was forced to marry her husband, businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko, who is twice or more her age. 

 However, Regina cleared the air, denying all these assumptions as she told her story. Regina said her family, especially her mom, did not approve of her relationship with Nwoko. But she stood her ground. She joked how her mom forced her to go for a family outing, which resulted in the least expected meeting with this cute man, Amugi. "I was so annoyed with my mom for insisting on a family outing," she began. "But when we got there, I met this cute man. The moral of the story is, Don't let a boyfriend hinder you from finding your husband."

She also spoke about having been through a number of relationships before deciding to settle with Ned. She argued that it was a choice and that she did not get influenced or controlled by anyone, not even her mom. She said, "When people assume I had no choice or was pressured by my mom, they're absolutely wrong. My whole family was against it. Yet I knew what I wanted." 

Regina also hinted that, with time, she may reveal a lot more about her family's resistance and how she and Nwoko have grown into their relationship, offering fans some insight into the actress's life and resolve.
