NSA says Baba Yara Stadium is prepared for football activities
According to Miss Adams, who spoke in an interview with Akoma FM, the Baba Yara is open, but it needs official approval from their superiors in Accra before it can operate.
“All work at the Baba Yara Stadium is completed and ready to host any football events, but we are awaiting clearance from our masters in Accra before the facility can be opened,” she disclosed.

The stadium was closed for renovations after CAF ruled that the pitch's poor condition made it unfit for international matches.
Asante Kotoko SC's home games had to be moved to Obuasi, while Ghana's 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Sudan had to be moved to Accra.
Baba Yara holds great potential for upcoming events, and the sports community is eagerly awaiting Accra's approval.
