Mahama assures young people that the 24-hour Women's Development Bank economy will create jobs
According to former President John Dramani Mahama, who is running for president of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the party has a number of employment-related initiatives.
These initiatives include the 24-Hour Economy, the One Million Coders program, the National Apprenticeship Programs, and the proposal to establish a women's development bank. In light of this, Mr. Mahama has advised Ghana's youth to maintain their optimism.

He urged people to have hope and faith in Ghana's future under his leadership, should he win this year's elections."Thank you, Wa UBIDS TEIN, #UpperWest NDC youth wing, and the TEIN branches from other tertiary institutions in Wa for the campus connect program on Monday night," he said on Facebook after his Tuesday, October 15 trip to the Upper West.
I encourage the youth to have hope again and believe in the future of Ghana because the next NDC administration has laid out a number of job creation initiatives, including the 24-hour economy, the one million coders programme, the Adwumawura and National Apprenticeship Programmes, and the establishment of a women’s development bank, among others.
