A man believed to be in his 40s was found dead inside a truck near Nyankyerenease in the Kwadaso constituency of the Ashanti Region. He was reportedly known as James Appiah, popularly called Atta.

According to an eye-witness, Maame Ampofowaa, Atta was last seen asleep in his parked truck at Nyankyerenease.

Ampofowaa added that the truck was poorly parked, obstructing the road. Several attempts to get Atta to repark his truck proved futile.

"I had a back-and-forth confrontation with him around 11 in the morning because of how poorly he had parked. At 1p.m., he still hadn’t moved his car, and I needed to load some things for my clients. I noticed he was sitting and sleeping in the passenger seat, so I decided to leave him alone.

"When I left my shop at 3 p.m., he was still asleep in the car. Later, around 7 pm, I received a call informing me of his passing. The people who called me knew about the altercation I had with him earlier that day," she added.
