Wesley College of Education, a public institution in the Ashanti Region, is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Vice Principal. The Vice Principal will support the Principal in managing administrative, academic, and disciplinary aspects of the college in accordance with the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and other regulatory guidelines, working closely with the college's Governing Council.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overall management and administration of the college.
• Address academic and disciplinary issues.
• Ensure alignment with the Colleges of Education Act and other regulatory frameworks.

Qualification Required & Experience:

• A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a relevant area of specialization.
• Must hold a rank not below Senior in a tertiary education institution.
• Demonstrates exemplary character and a high level of personal integrity.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a senior management role.
• In-depth knowledge of challenges facing Colleges of Education in Ghana, with a readiness to propose solutions.

Term of Office:

• The appointment is full-time for an initial term of 3 years, with the potential for renewal. Applicants must be able to complete one term before reaching the compulsory retirement age of 60.
