A multinational company in the agricultural sector, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in agricultural machinery engineering, automotive repair, and welding. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our fleet of tractors and other farm equipment.
LOCATION: Aveyime, Volta Region
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform maintenance, replacement, and repair of damaged parts on tractors and equipment
- Set up and organize the warehouse and workshop
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements on tractors, combine harvesters, and other farm equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in farm equipment
- Inspect equipment for safety risks and implement corrective measures
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Keep accurate records of parts usage and maintenance history
- Train and supervise staff to ensure effective performance
- Formulate and implement safety policies for mechanical staff
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience as a professional mechanic
- Familiarity with electronic systems integrated into tractors
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Availability to work on weekends when necessary

- Salary: Earn between GHS 3,500.00 and GHS 6,000.00 based on experience and qualifications
