The successful candidate will join our team as an Intelligent Network Engineer in the IT department, reporting to the IN Manager. The primary focus will be to ensure operational consistency of the IN system and provide first and second-level support for the billing ecosystem. This includes performing routine and level-two maintenance, managing platform upgrades, and assisting in the deployment of new products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain 99.99% availability of IN platforms.
- Execute business deliverables within agreed SLAs.
- Manage end-to-end data generation for stakeholders.
- Ensure first-time-right (FTR) configurations.
- Oversee the deployment of new products, services, or system upgrades.
- Perform system monitoring and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate system documentation.
- Supervise new node installations and network integration.
- Configure and test new tariffs, products, and services.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Execute data backups as per policies.
- Collaborate with the IN Manager on team tasks.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Maintain 99.99% platform availability.
- Implement tariff and promotions configurations.
- Ensure accurate and timely platform changes.
- Deliver all business requests with FTR.
- Timely completion of tasks assigned by the IN Manager.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree: University degree in computer engineering, telecom engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in telecom or IT with experience in IN/Billing and O&M.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GSM networks, particularly IN/Billing.
- Proficiency in UNIX platforms, shell scripting, and task automation.
- Expertise in Database Administration, SQL/MySQL, and Oracle-based services.
- Knowledge of SS7 signaling, SIGTRAN, and computer system characteristics.
- Hands-on experience with Huawei CBS platform is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure environments.
