I Have Unwavering Faith in My Abilities and My Team’s Potential – Jordan Ayew
Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew has expressed confidence in both his abilities and those of his team despite a challenging start to the season.
Leicester City are back in the Premier League after promotion, and have struggled to settle, earning just 10 points so far. Ayew, however, has been a crucial contributor, securing four of those points with two vital late goals.
Ayew’s recent strike against Ipswich came on the heels of his decisive winner against Southampton, both efforts helping Leicester halt a two-game losing streak against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
Speaking after Saturday’s (November 2, 2024) game, Ayew shared his optimism, highlighting his strong self-belief and confidence in the team. “I’m always a positive person, I’m always positive in my mind, I believe so much in myself and I believe so much in the team as well,” he said.
Ayew has scored three goals in 12 appearances across all competitions since his £5 million move from Crystal Palace in the summer.
In other news, Arsenal are interested in a move for West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus, says the Mirror.
The Gunners reportedly have identified the 24-year-old as a potential future replacement for Leandro Trossard, who is being linked with a switch to the Saudi Pro League.
