Bobrisky Jets out of Nigeria over Health and Sanity Concerns after Release from Prison
Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has confirmed his temporary departure from Nigeria due to health and mental well-being concerns.
After his release from EFCC custody, he said he left Nigeria to prioritize his well-being due to frustration from security agencies.
"Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily… I need to attend to my sanity and my health. A few Nigerian security agencies tried everything to frustrate me, but naaa, i gat God. Imagine !!! buying business class tickets 3 times. only 1 was successful. @klm I hope you guys refunded me the two i didn’t use. I know it is not ur fault, but it’s fine. Each business class cost me 9.800,000.
"I only successfully flew yesterday 3/11/2024. Before you come to my page to type nonsense, check ur account balance if you can afford 3 business sites not to talk of buying it 3 times. Well, I’m not in Nigeria, so ur comment means nothing. Cheers,” he wrote on Instagram.
Bobrisky’s departure follows his recent arrest by the EFCC. His legal issues began in April 2024 with a six-month sentence for naira abuse.
On Thursday, November 2, 2024, Bobrisky was stopped and removed from an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight at Murtala Muhammed International Airport while attempting to travel to London in the late hours.
