BI Presidential Scholarship For Graduate Studies In Norway For International Students
GENERAL OVERVIEW
The BI Presidential Scholarship is offered by Norwegian Business School to Norwegian and international students who have exceptional academic records. This is a highly competitive scholarship and priority is given to first time masters degree applicants.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the BI Presidential Scholarship, students must:
- Have a minimum GPA of an A on the ECTS scale or the equivalent of a top-level grade on the international grade scale.
- Be admitted into a two-year master of science program.
- Be a Norwegian citizen or an international citizen from EU / EEA / Switzerland.
- Be a citizen of a country outside the EU / EEA residing in Norway.
- Be international students (all citizenships) who obtained their bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) in Norway in the spring of the year of their application.
International students with citizenship from outside the EU / EEA / Switzerland who are not residents of Norway are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
- The scholarship covers full tuition fees and a stipend for living expenses. The stipend provided can only be used for 70% of expenses for international students living in Norway.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- Students who are awarded the scholarship are required to maintain a CGPA of B on the BI ECTS scale and also complete 30 ECTS each semester.
- Selected applicants are expected to become "BI ambassadors" who assist in recruitment efforts and collectively work towards promoting a good study environment.
- Write a scholarship application letter (minimum of one page), outlining why you should be considered for this scholarship.
- Upload all required documents for the master of science program inorder to be considered for the scholarship.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- The application deadline for this scholarship is 1st March 2025. Students must apply to a master of science program (be sure to check admission requirements for each program before applying ) and also submit an application letter for the scholarship at the same time on the online application portal.
- International applicants who apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship will also be considered for the MSc International Scholarship.
