Awasumanhene Expresses Great Confidence In Dr. Bawumia

Nana Bofobene IV, the paramount chief of the Dwenim Awasu traditional area in the Jaman South Constituency, expressed strong confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as he declared that the future of Ghana lies in his hands when the flagbearer and current Vice President of Ghana paid a courtesy to him during his campaign. 

Awasumanhene emphasized why he believed Dr. Bawumia would be the perfect President for the country. He further added that  that during Dr. Bawumia's tenure as Vice President of Ghana, he has proved himself capable of leading the country into a brighter future in aspects such as digitalization, economic restructuring, and technological development.

Nana Bofobene IV also expressed the concerns of Jaman South Constituency issues of infrastructural deficit, and educational and health concerns. He, therefore, hoped that under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, pressing problems like these would be driven to improve the living standards of his people. The chief drew from the remarks the need for leadership that truly cares for all Ghanaians.

He then concluded by wishing Dr. Bawumia well in his campaign, adding that he looked forward to the fact that a presidency under him was going to translate into meaningful and lasting development for the country.

"Though you may not be from this region, we do not see you as an outsider. Your good works speak for themselves. You are not just an ordinary person; you have critically examined issues and identified the policies that will propel the country forward." He said

He concluded with the powerful statement: "The second independence of Ghana is in your hands. The future of this nation, and my people, rests with you."
