Asifufuo Chief: NDC Has Become Very Attractive
Nana Okyere Siabour III, the Chief of Asifufuo, claims that the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) pro-youth policies have made the party very appealing, particularly to young people.
He claims that the days when the party was known for relying solely on the elderly as its basis of support are long gone.
As part of her campaign visit of the Ahafo Region, Nana Okyere Siabour made the observation during a community engagement session hosted by Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the NDC's vice presidential candidate, in Norberkow, Asunafo South Constituency.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nana Okyere Siabour stated that Ghanaians had the chance to compare the two main political parties and that it was evident that the NDC prioritized the needs of the people.
He claimed that the 24-Hour Economy, the Big Push, and the No Fee Stress, among other NDC manifesto ideas, are highly appealing to the nation's young people, who are in dire need of work and other opportunities.
Not too long ago, it was difficult to see the youth following the NDC and even wearing NDC T-shirts. But that is not the case anymore as the youth have taken over the party and it is now very attractive, he said.
Nana Okyere Siabour said, "some people have been using the ‘break the 8’ mantra but I can assure you that if the next NDC government fulfills its promises to the people, then the party will be the first to break the 8" , he stated.
Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang stated that the NDC would fulfill its pledge to Ghanaians by improving the nation's quality of life for all.
Therefore, she asked voters to support Mr. John Dramani Mahama and the NDC's parliamentary candidates in the general elections scheduled for December.
