Anas addresses Obinim’s Ken Agyapong remark

Tiger Eye PI has denied allegations made by Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder of the International God's Way Church, in a viral video and related media reports.

The video claims investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas reached out to Obinim to persuade him to join a lawsuit against politician Kennedy Agyapong.

However, in a statement released on March 21, Tiger Eye PI dismissed the allegations as entirely false and fabricated. The organization emphasized that Anas has no knowledge of Obinim's contact details or address, making the alleged interaction impossible.

The video, which has gained public attention, has led to discussions regarding its credibility. Tiger Eye PI urged the public to disregard the claim and remain focused on Anas’s commitment to justice and truth.

The organization also expressed appreciation for the support received from Ghanaians and the international community, particularly after Anas’s recent legal victory.

Earlier this week, the Superior Court of New Jersey awarded Anas $18 million in damages in a defamation lawsuit against former MP Kennedy Agyapong and social media commentator Frederick Asamoah. The ruling followed a legal battle over defamatory statements made in a 2021 interview.

During a recent church service, Bishop Obinim recalled his past conflicts with Agyapong and referenced an accusation made by the politician, who once alleged he was involved in illegal activities with medical professionals at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Tiger Eye PI reaffirmed its dedication to transparency and accountability while thanking the public for their continued support.
