Access Bank Launches "the Power of 100 Africa Initiative" to Empower Female Entrepreneurs in Africa

Access Bank's " POWER OF 100 AFRICA", is the latest entrepreneurial program to be launched. This initiative is aimed at supporting 100 female entrepreneurs across African countries which include Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia.

The Bank's Deputy Managing Director, Chizoma Okoli, announced the program emphasizing Access Bank's long standing commitment to women empowerment.The project seeks to drive transformative impact  in communities led by women, shinning a light on those who have surmounted major barriers, spearheaded innovative solutions, and motivated others through their remarkable leadership.

By recognizing and celebrating pioneering women in business and entrepreneurship, Access Bank's goal is to inspire the next generation of female leaders across Africa.This initiative offers networking events and resources to honorees, as well as, mentorship opportunities to foster leadership and community engagement skills.

This project is opened to the public and nominations can be submitted online. Abiodun Olubitan, Group Head of Women Initiative and Emerging Business stressed the importance of female entrepreneurship for economic growth across Africa and how "THE POWER OF 100 AFRICA" aligns with Access Bank's mission to empower women, promote gender equality and drive positive change across the  African continent.
