2024 National Farmers' Day to Be Celebrated on November 8 in Accra
Farmers in Ghana have been looking forward to this year's national farmers' day celebration. This is a holiday and a celebration much anticipated by farmers in Ghana, as they are rewarded for all the hard work they put into the country's agricultural sector.
Each year, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture hosts celebrations on selected dates to celebrate and award hardworking farmers who have contributed to the sector's development. As we are in the election year, many have wondered when the celebration will be held and how it will go. Due to this, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture has issued an official communiqué giving details on when and how the celebrations will be.
According to the letter signed by the Chief Director of the Ministry, Paul Siameh, the 40th edition of the National Farmers' Day celebration will take place on November 8, 2024, and will be hosted in Accra. They also mentioned that there would be no regional celebration, but the regions can organize their programs if they so wish.
